Cap Horn
A Courchevel institution beside the Altiport, famous for its sun-drenched terrace, its seafood and its see-and-be-seen lunches. Live music and a festive atmosphere make it as much an event as a meal, and a table here at peak season is one of the hardest in the resort to secure.
Bagatelle
The mountain outpost of the international Bagatelle brand brings its signature blend of Mediterranean dining and party energy to the slopes, where long lunches slide effortlessly into afternoon celebrations with a glass in hand. Book well ahead, especially for weekends and peak weeks.
La Folie Douce
The definitive Courchevel apres-ski, where lunch, live performers and DJs combine into something closer to a mountain festival than a restaurant. Enormous fun for groups, and busiest of all on bluebird days when the terrace fills from early afternoon.
Le Panoramic
Perched at the top of the Saulire at over 2,700 metres, with some of the most spectacular views in the resort, Le Panoramic pairs Savoyard classics and more refined dishes with a genuinely breathtaking setting. Worth the trip for the panorama alone, and a favourite for a memorable group lunch.
Les Verdons
A lively, well-placed favourite at the top of the Verdons gondola, with a broad terrace and easy access, ideal for a relaxed lunch in the sun without straying far from the main pistes.
Le Chalet de Pierres
One of the resort’s most elegant and long-established mountain restaurants, set on the Verdons piste and a byword for the classic Courchevel lunch, from its patisserie trolley to its sunlit terrace.
La Soucoupe
A characterful, rustic institution on the Loze side, known for its open-fire grills and generous alpine cooking, a warm and traditional counterpoint to the resort’s glossier addresses.
For dinner in the village
When the lifts close, Courchevel 1850 holds one of the greatest concentrations of Michelin stars in the Alps. Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc, Le Chabichou and Baumaniere 1850 lead a remarkable line-up of gastronomic dining, while countless smaller restaurants offer everything from refined Italian to classic Savoyard fondue and raclette. Or dine in
For many guests, the finest meal of the week is the one that arrives without leaving the chalet.
