Chalet La Voie Lactée

High above Courchevel, Chalet La Voie Lactée brings together modern comfort and genuine mountain character across three levels of stone and warm timber. The living space is arranged around an open fire, sunlit through the day and framed by large windows that open onto the surrounding peaks.

Five bedrooms welcome six to eight guests, each dressed in soft bedding and generous views. The master bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower, while the other rooms offer their own bathrooms, several convertible to twins for families or friends travelling together.

There is room to unwind well beyond the slopes. A multimedia room with a large screen and projector for quiet evenings in, a spa to ease tired legs, and a dining table made for long lunches and a steaming hot chocolate after a day on the snow.

The setting is peaceful, yet close to everything that matters here. The Three Valleys, the world’s largest linked ski area, is within easy reach, with the restaurants of Courchevel and the mountains’ largest aquatic centre nearby.

A dedicated team looks after the details, from the morning housekeeping to the welcome on arrival. A driver, a ski instructor or a private chef can be arranged on request.

The hardest decision may be whether to ski first, or linger by the fire.
