High above Courchevel 1850 at the Col de la Loze, Bagatelle combines a long mountain lunch with one of the resort’s most recognisable party atmospheres.
The afternoon starts around the table, but rarely stays there. Music, champagne and an increasingly lively terrace make Bagatelle a natural choice for groups looking for an après-ski experience that begins before the skis come off.
It is one of Courchevel’s places to see and be seen, particularly during the busiest weeks of the winter season.
Le Tremplin
Best for: Drinks straight from the slopes and an easy start to the evening
At the foot of the slopes in Courchevel 1850, Le Tremplin makes the transition from skiing to après-ski particularly easy.
Its central location at La Croisette means you can finish your last run and be on the terrace shortly afterwards. It is worth planning the return journey to Courchevel before settling in for the afternoon, particularly if you intend to stay until the party finishes.
Cap Horn
Best for: Long lunches, sunny terraces and groups
Some of Courchevel’s best afternoons begin with lunch rather than après-ski itself.
Located near the Altiport, Cap Horn is one of the resort’s established mountain addresses, combining a large sunny terrace with the kind of long lunch that can easily stretch well into the afternoon.
